Mirror's Edge

Hi,
has anyone played Mirror's Edge? I bought it 2 weeks ago for my PS3. I played several hours straight when I got it. The game is just beautiful and gameplay is amazing. It is an incredible experience when you get on a roll jumping, sliding and wallrunning your way through the levels.

Hi,
yes the soundtrack is wonderful and is so important for the atmosphere. Developers often forget how powerful music can be in the experience. Mirror's edge is a prime example of this done right.

The main theme is Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky BTW.

how is it compared to the tony hawk's series?

from what i've heard mirror's edge have innovative control scheme, maybe it would be much better on the wii lol

This is nothing like the Tony Hawk's series. The Genre is Action / Adventure. Did you watch the trailer?

what i'm referred to is the gameplay like running or sliding, pretty much like skate boarding on tall buildings :)

Sorry I misunderstood. The game has a speed-run function for the levels. So it can be used by the community like a sports game.

Damn,I couldn't believe my eyes,when I first ran this game ... still I'm running it at mid-end PC compared to the Recommended reqs for playing it 100% perfect! Guys,you should all check it out!

I´m hardcore FPS player but loved this action genre! Good game!

Really good game. It's FPS with good graphics. And it is very well optimized too. I ran it on my ancient potato PC and the gameplay was smooth.
