Wanting to put that box to good use makes sense, but ultimately they're the same files.

I may be biased on this one since twice I've had to ask AB members for help, thinking this holy grail of anime would have some things that were unseeded in public, but it didn't...

but don't you think usenet has its disadvantages against DMCA takedown, after months I am back to usenet now even files on kleverig totally obfuscated and password protected, just 9 months old have article missing on eweka happened thrice one from ds. Files that are not gonna re-uploaded again would stay like that. decentralisation is best in my opinion. Give me some light upon it If I am wrong.

It's not a secret that posting to Usenet requires preparatory work if you want uploads to stick around. But with the highest retention periods currently approaching 6000 days, it's a good tradeoff.

HD-T recruits from Bitcoin and PayPal, only requirement is 35 EUR uploaded.

User invites seem rare, since there's not a lot of peer activity which makes ranking up hard.

You need to be in the uploader+ class, though. Currently, there are only 16 active uploaders, and among them, the person with the lowest upload count has 500+ uploads. So, you'd need at least 500 uploads to rank up to the uploader class.

You've got that wrong. You need to fulfill only one of the three requirements:
1. 50 uploads (25 movies)
2. Completed 10 subtitles pots
3. Former/current staff, uploader class, VIP

So yeah it's just 50 uploads if you choose to fulfill first requirement. And anyone can upload not just the uploader class.

Damn, I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out because I almost gave up after seeing the requirements. Looks like I've got to start uploading soon, then. The hard part will be waiting another year to meet the account age requirements. I just hope they continue recruiting until then or at least start recruiting again by the time I meet the requirements.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the recruitment should continue for a long time. Their usercount has only gone down in the last few months and not that many new users are joining thanks to the hard requirements.
