Mod Features

After seeding is over, I look at bottom right corner of program, "total upload" - T: 7.0Gb

Note it's the upload for that torrent (in the Uploaded column or Info tab) you should be checking. Even without anything else active, the counter in the status bar also includes protocol overhead and other "not real data" traffic.

Nonetheless, the numbers still don't add up. The mod takes your real upload in bytes and appends a single digit to it, so in principle there's no way 7 GB (or slightly less) should be counted as 19 times that much. To really know what happened I'd need to do a test run and collect announce logs... in the meantime, if you need a reliable multiplier, I recommend uSerenity or BiglyBT Extreme Mod; Ratio Faker and ProxyFake would also work in this particular scenario, as plab.site doesn't use HTTPS.

Actually, it's not (for me). When I read it first, I say to myself: "SPEED? What the hell he mean under "speed"??"
So, I go to explain in other threads on forum.

And ... in final ... speed ... ? ... or amount of data?..

I applaud the fact you searched first, but don't see what's so ambiguous about "speed"? Well, it is true that torrent clients only report the amount of data, but by changing that and leaving the announce interval untouched, you effectively modify the (average) speed the tracker sees.

Thanks for your kind words, but unfortunately an update is unlikely for two reasons.

• As you pointed out, I have my hands full with other things, and this wouldn't be a high priority task due to the existence of better alternatives (as mentioned on post #126).
• The newest stable branch of uTorrent, version 3.6, is actually very buggy and continues to be half a year after its initial release.

If you like this mod pack, my recommendation is to try uSerenity!

Hi.I am in a tracker that has two strict rules.
that has this rules:
All torrents require a minimum of 7 days (168 hours) seed time, regardless of ratio.
There is a 10% buffer before the minimum seeding requirements kick in. This means that torrents will not be considered a HnR if the amount you have downloaded is less than 10%.


I can finally seed for one or two days, not 7 days.I just want to download and watch my favorite movies, that is, only the files I need, not to raise the user rank or collect bonuses.Because of my super awful upload speed.
I don't want to get hit and run (because if I download only 10% of a torrent, I have to seed for 7 days or else I will get hit and run). That's why in order to reduce the risk a lot, I have to use a method that in That amount of my downloads should not be recorded in the tracker.
Is there a way that no information from me is recorded in the completed section of the torrents I have received in tracker? Even the download amount is zero.

I'm not exacly sure that's what happened but they started throwing warnings for using utorrent clients and in their lists utorrent is under "bannable" section. @Anon by your recommendation i'm trying to figure out BiglyBT :)

one of Mods from IPT updated 1 month ago list of clients and utorrent 2.2.1 is under "NOT ALLOWED", i and friend of mine recived warnings of using that client from the same MOD that updated list. Continuation of usage of that client will result in account disable.

Okay, so. Homepage says uTorrent 1.6.1, 2.2.0, 2.2.1 and 3.2.2 are approved for use and that "[n]o matter what the last edit date is, this is UP TO DATE!!!". FAQ tells you to look at the homepage to know what the permitted clients are. Forums contradict both by having an "official torrent client list v2" last edited one month ago, where the following versions of uTorrent for Windows are listed as not allowed and 100% restricted

I don't see the point in micromanaging bans and sending warnings either, when they can whitelist at the tracker level and deny service to banned clients with a failure reason like everyone else... oh well.
